Christie-Leigh & Michael

Last week, I had the privelege of capturing Christie-Leigh and Michael's wedding. It was pouring down rain when I left my house and I was worried because the wedding was set to be outside. But, as I neared McDonough the sky was blue and the sun was out. The rain stayed away and we felt a few drops right after the ceremony when we were taking pictures. WHEW!! What a blessing! Here is your preview. Have fun on your honeymoon!!!! Thanks so much!

Dadrienne and Colin

Earlier this month, I had the pleasure of being a part of Dadrienne and Colin's special day. The day started off a little overcast but the sun opened up and it was a pretty day. They got married in Macon at St. Joseph's and I was just in awe of how incredibly beautiful this church was from the inside and out. WOW! I have so much fun at weddings! I am always honored to be chosen to capture this life changing moment! D & C, thanks so much ! Here is a little preview for you.

Danielle and Kyle

I have been horrible about blogging. I am excited to post some new pixs. Danielle and Kyle are getting married in October and funny thing...they are getting married on October 10th! That is our wedding anniversary so of course that day is a fab day for a wedding. It was so much fun meeting them and doing these engagement photos. This location was incredible and I LOVED how green everything was. You might not be able to tell from the photos I posted but that grass was SUPER high. Some parts were almost waist high and I am such a freak about snakes. I grew up in the country but as I have gotten older, I have become paranoid about those outside critters. The night was a success with great weather, lighting and no snake sightings. D & K, here is your preview and I will post the rest of them on my website very soon. Hope you had as much fun as I did!

Amanda & Hampton

Here are some pictures from a recent wedding in Newnan. This was such a fun wedding! It was freezing outside and they were such good sports when we went outside to grab some shots. They opted to see each other before the wedding and shared a special moment in the sanctuary before we started taking pictures. Here is a quick preview and I promise, I will post the rest on my site very soon. Thanks so much for letting me be a part of your special day.

I liked the expressions in both so I had to post two jumping shots!

The father/daughter dance was awesome. You see them slow dancing and being serious before they started breaking down to their dance routine. From Butterfly Kisses to Running Man to Twist and Shout to one other fun one. It was great! Go Dad!!!

I loved the candy table! I was searching for the Be Mine heart but found this one instead. I thought others might get upset with me digging all around. I was using a spoon!! :o)

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas and a very exciting 2009! I ran out of time and did not send out Christmas cards. So, I thought I would put this card together to at least send a family Christmas greeting out via e-mail, my blog and facebook. I have more pictures of Lydia's first Christmas posted on facebook.

Thanks for a wonderful 2008. I look forward to what all 2009 has in store. I am starting to book more weddings for 2009. Please email me ASAP if you want to reserve your wedding date.

Grandbabies

I know from my three how hard it is to get everyone together in one frame. I guess a 5, 3 and 8 month old just do not find my need for pictures that important! I can understand the frustration and wish I had a camera to get a shot of those of us behind the camera trying to capture the attention of our little ones. It can be quite amusing! Anyway, I love taking family shots and this one with the grandbabies is no exception.

I took Christmas pictures last year for this family and the weather was perfect. We had some fun outside and the girls ended the shoot playing with the leaves. This year, it was pouring rain on the day of our shoot so we moved things inside. The kids did great and my favorites are the ones of them being silly! I feel those shots truly capture the moment and generate instant smiles. I have posted some from last year just to see how much everyone has grown. What a difference a year makes.

Now for fun!

The Wellness Community-Atlanta Northside

Last month, I went to The Wellness Community at Atlanta Northside to take pictures of their special Chocolate Tastin' event for Breast Cancer Survivors. This is a great organization and a place where those who have cancer in their life can go to for support and friendship. They offer incredible programs and support for those individuals diagnosed with cancer and also have programs for family members as well. Here are a few shots from the event. I even got to dip a few treats in the chocolate fountain myself. Chocolate covered pineapple was a first for me and it was quite good! YUMMY!

I invite you to check them out and visit their site. Good stuff!
