It's been awhile...

It has been awhile since my last post. My very active boys have kept us busy in the medical sense. Luke swallowed a penny and since it was lodged we had the joy of spending the night at Egleston and having an IV inserted. Poor thing! It was horrible. It took 3 people to hold him down and that does not count the one inserting the IV and me over his head trying to calm him down. The nurses in the ER said he was the strongest 3 year old they have ever had in there. So, I do see a little UGA football in our future... :o) Praise God, the penny went down into his stomach that morning so we avoided surgery and were able to go home.

Then, poor Matthew slipped in the bathroom after bath time and landed right on his face. I knew when he fell, it was not good. We eventually had to go to the dentist and they had to pull the two top teeth. He did well and resembled a pumpkin just in time for Halloween. On the other hand, Lydia's bottom front two teeth have come in and she looks so cute with those little teeth poking out. She is now 7 months old and rolling all over the place. She lifts up like she is about to take off but so far, no crawling and I am thankful for that. So, to get back on track..here are some pixs of the kiddos from Halloween!

TJ

TJ was my other Senior from the weekend. We started off with some formal and indoor shots and then headed out to Cochran Mill in Palmetto to get some casual outdoor shots. Being a Sunday afternoon, there were a lot of people out there swimming and picnicking. I had to make sure we did not have some "extras" in the background. At my last session here, we were not able to cross the creek because the water was too high. I was excited to see that the water was low enough to cross over the rocks. We even went through some trails to get further up on the rocks. We were already finished when I noticed the graffiti and I had to catch him to take a few more shots. I loved the urban feel.
It was so pretty out there. I would LOVE to take some Fall shots out here. Any takers?!? Call/email me and let's set it up!

Charlie

I had two Senior Sessions this weekend and this was the first one. It was overcast which was great but we both sure did feel the humidity! Charlie is a Senior at Northgate High School and she wanted to take some pictures at her house. They have a beautiful lake behind their house so we had many fun places to shoot. We then took some indoor shots and I absolutely loved the closeup shots and her eyes. Just gorgeous! Thanks for being so flexible and willing to get rusty, wet, muddy and bitten by ants!

Senior Stuff

This session was so much fun. Miss. A is a Senior at Arlington Christian School and I was honored to take her Senior Pictures. I tried to pull out her inner "Next Top Model" calling and I think we got some great shots. We then had to play a little bit outside in between the rain. She is such a pretty girl and I LOVE the curls. Thanks so much!

It's not too late to get your Senior Portraits done. Shoot me an email or give me a ring to hear session availability!

Stefanie & Justin

Here is a preview of Stefanie & Justin's wedding that I did a few weeks ago in Hogansville. Everyone was so nice and Stefanie was such a beautiful bride. Their little boy, Noah, was such a trooper but dashed whenever he saw me. I tried to catch him when I could and tried to think of what my boys would do. He finally crashed at the reception. The rest of the pictures will be up soon on my site. Thanks for letting me capture your day. I hope all goes well as you move to Savannah.
